Home is where the heart is....

I'm currently heading back east from spending Christmas at home in California.  I've heard from different people over the years that have big families about how difficult it is to keep the peace a lot of the time.  I look at my family when I come home and spend time with them and something that I really love about my family is how much laughter there is at all my family functions.  Whether we are spending time with extended family in a giant gathering or it's just my immediate family, there is so much laughter happening.  I love hearing people laugh and being around that.  It is so amazing to experience that when around people you love.  It's something that I strive for, even in my art....  To be looking for opportunities to spread joy through the enjoyment of family.  I also feel that it is something that is absolutely necessary to be in a thankful and joyful place in a person's life.  Amen.
