We worked on Jolene last night!!! Have a listen!!!

Hey all.  The Titanics had a great time last night running through much of the music for the Dolly Parton tribute show and it went really well!  We are all very excited for the upcoming show.  Stacey was on hand to sing through the song a couple times and she sounded great.  I have a sample of the part of the recording here to give you a taste of what is in store.  Please keep in mind that this is the first day that we played through this arrangement, but we're looking forward to tightening it up for the show next week.  Enjoy!

Honky Tonk Angels is done!

I had the pleasure of completing another tune for the Big Band Dolly show - Honky Tonk Angels.  There's going to be a bit of soloing from each horn (tenor sax, trumpet, trombone, and violin) on the tune and it's become a very bluesy, honky tonk, 12/8 feeling tune and I'm excited about it!  We have our first rehearsal with some of the singers tonight for the show and I'm looking forward to performing with this awesome group again.  It's always so much fun to play with these folks.  Go to my media page to listen to the audio of the arrangement being played by my midi program to give you a taste!
